比⋯⋯多了
bǐ …… duō le
Expressing "much more" in comparisons
多了 after the adjective means the gap is large — "much more".
Noun 1 + 比 + Noun 2 + Adj. + 多了
How it works
拼音比汉字容易多了 — pinyin is far easier than characters.
The alternatives are 得多 (容易得多) and a concrete amount: 他比我高十公分.
All of these go after the adjective. Nothing intensifying may go in front of it.
